Across the Caribbean, Indigenous communities continue to defend land, memory, and inheritance against environmental threat and displacement. The following statement was issued by the Yamaye Guani in solidarity with Kalinago communities currently advocating for stronger land protections of the Deux Branches site and the Concord River amid regional mining concerns.
